Thrikkovil Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple – Vallicode

 

Thrikkovil Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple is located in Vallicode village in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala.

He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu

Other deities on the premises are Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali, and Lord Shiva

This temple was a mixture of Dravidian and Kerala styles of architecture.

As per local folklore, it is considered the second of its kind after the famous Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram.

This temple was built during the 13th century.

The main festival observed in the temple is Dashavatara Chaarth, which takes place every year. During the celebration, one Lord Vishnu avatar is revered each day.
