Sri Ghati Subramanya
Swamy Temple is located in the Outskrits of Bengaluru near Tubagere,
Doddaballapura in the Bengaluru district in Karnataka.
Here Lord Subramanya
sitting on a peacock placed in the temple sanctum. Lord Narasimha Swamy and
Lord Subramanya Swamy are Self-manifested here on a single idol.
A huge mirror was placed
in the rear of the sanctum sanctorum to ensure that both deities were visible
to devotees at the same time.
Ghati is believed to be
the place where Lord Subramanya killed a demon called Ghatikasura.
Kumaratheertham is the
Pushkarini in this temple.
This temple was built in
16th century.
